We’re very pleased with the length of lactation and the shape and style of her udder, which is very reminiscent to that of her paternal granddam, Sunshine. This doe easily stays in milk as long as someone shows up to milk her, with every lactation over a year long on test. She was ‘adopted’ as a favorite by a then 5 year old because she is his favorite doe to milk. She jumps up on the milking stand readily and never kicks. She also willingly took over mothering a young wether when paired with him after his dam was sold.
