Ronco Farm Ebony Jewel

Nubian Doe (female) Reference only - not in herd

ADGA#  Deceased
Line bred on Linn Farm's Beau, this beautiful doe wow'd her breeder as a first freshener by milking over 13 pounds on her first milk test. This was a surprise because she was just nursing her fast growing twins and getting milked once a day before that milk test so there hadn't been an opportunity to evaluate her production. Her udder is described as super soft with easy to milk teats that have a fast milk flow.

Emerald is a deliberate line breeding on 2x Top Ten doe, Ronco Farm Windy Ebony. Emerald’s dam, Jewel, is the daughter of Ebony and her sire, Zeb, is the grandson of Ebony through his sire, Ronco Farm General Traveller.
Jewel and Emerald’s breeders selected these two does as their only keepers when they initially downsized. They couldn’t get over how soft and lovely Jewel’s udder was to milk, but when Jewel produced over 13 pounds on test as a first freshener, then they were truly impressed. Jewel was the result of line breeding on her dam’s sire, Linn Farm’s Beau. Emerald came to us as a suckling kid with her mother, only when her breeders retired completely from raising Nubians.
