Fruitful-Acres Simply Splendid

Clemency consistently has had the highest butterfat of any of our does since the first year she was here. We’ve had 3 paternal half sisters of hers over the years and have been impressed by every one of them. One of her paternal half sisters was our first doe to earn an LA score of 90 and another peaked at 19 pounds of milk a day and was still milking a gallon a day at 10 months fresh, which earned her the #1 ranking of the Top Ten milkers in the country that year. Clemency’s most noticeable trait though, is that she’s nearly always the first doe to come greet us and the last to leave our side, if she ever does step away, while we’re out visiting the herd during the day. She’s often a choice to jump on the milking stand for folks who have never milked to learn on because of her easy-going, willing personality.
